Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation of documents, submissions and advice for various construction contractual matters;
• Assist in mediation, arbitration and expert witness works;

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related disciplines;
• RICS, HKIS or equivalent professional qualification is required;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction industry with consultant or contractor organizations;
• Experience in construction claims is desirable;
• A team player, able to communicate and coordinate effectively;
• Ability to meet tight deadlines;
• Possess high level of integrity, strong problem solving and analytical skills;
• Fluency in spoken and written Cantonese is essential
• Excellent command of spoken and written English language is highly desirable

Responsibilities:

• Work with recognised delay methodologies independently and deploy the most appropriate methodology in a given situation whilst identifying and assessing delay;
• Perform both retrospective and prospective type of analysis;
• Prepare Extension of Time submissions with comprehensive delay analysis for construction projects;
• Perform critical path analysis of schedules whilst determining presence of concurrent delay;
• Analyse loss of productivity (disruption) claims and demonstrate consequent entitlement to Extension of Time and additional cost;

 

Requirements:

• Construction Planning Engineer with minimum 10 years’ experience in project planning, monitoring and control with contractor organisations on medium to large scale projects.
• Experience in prospective and retrospective delay analysis using Microsoft Project and Primavera scheduling software.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and willingness to put in extra effort and commitment whenever necessary.
• Independent and result-oriented.
• Experience in construction claims is desirable.
• Practical construction experience in programming and delay analysis essential.
• Fluency in spoken and written Cantonese is essential.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English language is highly desirable
